I don't have a problem with beginning with the end in mind. What I sometimes have a problem with is having too many ends in mind. So I'm going to view this problem as a challenge and see if I can blog my way through it. If I can narrow down my ends in mind I could probably play more.
You might try playing with one of the technologies - pictures is a good one - just to get the ball rolling.
